Oh, it is getting chilly, but I love it! Of course, my winters aren't as bad as yours.... It was 45 degrees Fahrenheit this morning when I went for my walk! Love it!
OK, I'm REALLY jealous of the Aga... But I have a question, if you turn it off in the Summer, do you have a regular range as well? Can you turn off part of it? Or is summer in Scotland like summer in Maine...It's a good year if you have good weather on both days.
Hi Leslie, I have a regular electric stove too....I hate it....but have to use it in the summer as my kitchen gets too hot otherwise.
I have to say you are right....summer never really happened this year in Scotland...we had good weather in the spring for lambing the sheep but then it has been rain, rain and more rain.....but that is why we have a beautiful green countryside!
I'm so glad you posted that photo. When I was visiting the UK last week I visited someone who had one of those stoves. I was trying to describe it to my husband but I couldn't remember what it's called. Please remind me what that thing is called.
