The End of an Era...

I've really enjoyed my association with Borderland Fabrics, Jedburgh but alas all good things come to an end, I will be doing my last pick up and drop off there on Friday 3rd of June so if you have anything you would like me to quilt for you you can bring it into the shop between 1-4pm or phone me later to make other arrangements, some other opportunity will come up soon I'm sure. You can always bring quilts to my home or we can arrange to meet somewhere near you that suits.....

I've been busy finishing up quilts, some still need to be returned to there owners, here are a few that have already gone...

This is a lovely Grandchild's quilt pieced by Avril, quilted with Waskally Wabbits...

Another baby quilt pieced by Grace, quilted with simple flowers to match the fabrics ...

Grace also pieced this lovely Mexican star quilt, to keep the 3D element I custom quilted most of it. I used one whirligig type digital motif in the 6 inch blocks and yellow and orange threads in the stars...

This one will make a lovely wall hanging....

Joy sent me these two lovely confetti quilts, I chose surf by Anne Bright for the blue quilt and Buzz for the red quilt, both have now gone home and I'm sure will be finished with binding once things settle after the arrival of Joys new baby, congratulations to all....

Its Common Riding time here in Hawick, lots of horse related outings, here are just a few photos from the past few weeks....
