Back from the Edge...

Here are a few quilts featuring edge to edge designs that went home recently.....

This is  Alana's quilt, destined as a wedding gift for a Son and Daughter in Law with Chinese connections, it's already living in the USA. The pattern of half square triangles is named 'North by North West' quilted with a digitised chrysanthemum design in cream thread, chrysanthemums are considered lucky, good fen shui!

This is Zeyneps Chinese Coins quilt, this one will live in Turkey, some lovely oriental fabrics here in this quilt. Quilted with red thread and a digitised design named Surf.

This sampler quilt belongs to Anne also quilted with Surf, its a very versatile design and doesn't detract from the fabrics or piecing patters. this quilt show the effect that a flatter wadding gives, nothing wrong with it if that's your choice.
