Over the Edge...

I always have a few edge to edge or pantograph quilts waiting in the queue, it's really nice to do one or two in between the custom work. Custom quilts are often on my machine for two or three weeks, so it is beneficial for me to clear my queue a little with the edge to edge or digitised designs as these can be done in one or two days depending on size.

Norma's entwined hearts is a huge king sized quilt, destined as a wedding gift, quilted with 'Surf' in cream thread using Simply Cotton 100% wadding, the wide quirky backing fabric and wadding were supplied by me....

Alison's Celtic knot or chain was quilted with a design called Celtic Adoption in a cream thread, it worked beautifully with the celtic theme and looked really well against the dark navy backing fabric.

Ann's strippy quilt, pieced by Margaret will compliment many of the rooms in her house as it was made using left overs from her home decor fabrics. I quilted it with a thistle pantograph to tie in with the lilac colours in the top and also the pale lilac backing fabric supplied by me....

Jackie's lovely dresden plates quilt looks wonderful quilted with a digital design name Sweet Shoppe, the polyester wadding supplied by Jackie gave a lofty texture, quilted using a cream thread.....
